My little granddaughter Carina loves to read and she loves riddles. Every day, we send her an email with a riddle and a picture. I sent this one last week:
Q. What's the difference between partly sunny and partly cloudy?
A. It can be partly cloudy at night.
She loved the riddle because it challenged her and made her think. So she asked if there was another thing to call a partly cloudy night. Sure, I said, it's called partly moony. Oh, Grandpa, you're so silly, there's no such thing as partly moony. So I promised to send her a picture of it.
This morning, the moon was still visible before sunrise and, by golly, it was partly cloudy out. So I took my DMC-FZ35 and took some pictures of what partly moony looks like.
